Default needle clip setting

Posting from my phone which won't let me search the forums.

What does moving the clip up do vers moving it down. Looking to see which way will add more fuel.

Putting the clip lower will allow more fuel as it will raise the needle

Clip up (needle down - in the hole more) means leaner, clip down (needle up - out of the hole more) means richer.

Your main jet alone controls the fuel delivery from 75% to 100% , you should try various sizes to see what size works best for you .
From 25% to 75% the mixture is controlled by the needle in conjunction with the main jet that you had previously chosen . Lowering the needle leans the mixture , raising the needle enriches the mixture . If you later need to change the main jet size you will need to do the needle again . To answer your question the needle acts like a cork for the main jet , it lets a little or a little more gas pass by .
From 0 to 25% you depend on the pilot jet , this mixture is adjutable with the idle mixture screw and the tool ( if you have one ) .
