Default my backyard ride

I saw an ATV headed down the road from my house last week and noticed he headed into some really old trails I had ridden once when I was much younger that I had thought had overgrown by now. This sparked my curiousity to see if these trails actually still went anywhere....and since they were only a couple minutes down the road from my house I couldn't resist to head there today when the temperatures reached 8 degrees Celsius. Here are a few pics I took along my travels......note: I hadn't been on the KLX in well over a month, let alone on any single track trails so I had lots of oppurtunities to take pics.

All the leaves looks like it was a bit slippery. Also noticed a mirror missing. Was it on that ride or another?

The mirror broke on this trip...the front washed out near the top of the hill in the photos...I never thought to take a pic of the bike laying down...although I lots of time to do that. It must've taken me a good 20 mins to get it upright again as the handlebars were just ahead of a clump of trees but not far enuf to allow me to stand on the low side to pick it up.I think I ended up dragging the bike up the hill just far enuf to get between the handlebars and the trees to stand it up. It was hard to pull the bike the hill even a little bit...lol Thats when I took the pics of the wood-pecker nearby.

Oh and thats ketchup on the dog...lol...catalina on the salad. BBq'd pork chops and a Sleemans...it was awesome after that ride.
