instead of drilling the airbox i capped it and ran a hose to the top of the frame with a crankcase vent filter on it and actually did notice a little difference in performance, even though it wasnt a huge difference every little bit helps. there is definately less pressure in there now because my oil fill cap always seeped oil before and as soon as i did this mod it stopped.

Thats weird i'm using a 128 main and had it on the second notch and was fine and wanted to see what it was like on the 3rd and ran rich, and crappy on quarter throttle, would even die out after you came to a stop when the engine was cold so i went to the first from the top and was just fine, or maybe even better than 2nd. the jets i got were all keihin jets too. that chart says i should be using a 138? i have done all the mods except for the crankcase mod,

they mod's i did as follows:
40 pilot
K&N a/f
kdx snorkel
aftermarket s/o

and no one has the perfect answer for jetting the carburetor, its well it differs, but it shouldnt by much, what if somone thinks its right but actually its wrong, I see dynojet does research and finds the best jetting and everthing else, but do they. hence the jet they say is 137.5 jet is there 128 but there isnt a 137.5 jet its a 138, i wonder if they got that backwards?

I finished doing the rest of the mods a week or two ago.
Drilled out the airbox restriction
Removed the pollution control hoses and plugged associated holes.
Installed the twin air and rejetted the main with 128
I also got rid of the kickstand switch and teed the carb vent hoses together
I took the bike out and it runs much better than the last time.
If I crank on it in first and snick second gear the front wheel will loft a good foot without any body english. I am still using the 14 toother so I think it will be just right with the 13. Still waiting for that to come!!

yours is a good one to.

Right now I am working on installing a Acerbis tank and fuel pump. The tank is a fair fit, the bolts are a little off so you have to sort of fnagle it into place. A bit of a pain in the ***.
