Hiking trails maybe a 1000 years old? probably made with slaves and used for centuries by armys and trade partys to cross the pass. Just guessing, there is alot of history in that area, I'd poach em too if I missed a turn accidentally..... the sign at the end roughly translates "between a rock and a hard place" LOL.
