Yeah, must be an off-road thing. The stocker is one of the better headlights I've used for this type of bike.

Makes me wonder if some of them are adjusted properly.

I have always thought my light was bright enough. I mean it seems better than the two lights on my 99 Dodge Ram 2500, but I do like the sound of a 100w bulb. And remember its high beam all the time day or night. The only time to use low is at night against traffic. As far as adjusting the headlight, I found that because the front is so soft, and when I hit the throttle the bike comes flying up () the the light is sometimes in the right spot but not most of the time. It's all relative to shifting and terrain.

I put in a PIAA Star White that was much brighter. It's a H4 55\60 that supposedly puts out equal to 100\110. Don't ask me how that works, but those guys have been doing this for awhile. Having said that, check out the lights I put on about one month later. Picture is in the post Shift Lever for KLX 250.

Running with 100/90 watts Automotive H4 bulb definitely much clearer...
I suggest installing a relay for bulbs above 80 watts for high you don't wanna fry your switches
Sir also change the H4 sockets to a ceramic one I've melted mine all the way leaving the terminals behind...
