License plate bracket and rear turn signals Changeout - Pics

Ok guys ok, I didnt mean to come across non-chalant or anything. I'm no expert in metal working. I used a Dremal moto tool with a cutoff wheel to cut out the sheet metal and then just bent it in the one spot needed. I purchased a small sheet of sheet metal from home depot for like 3 bucks. The hardest part was actually making the template and being sure it would work. Once I had the template designed I just traced the template out on the sheet metal and cut it out. I then smoothed the edges with a file and painted it. It's easy to do if you have a dremal moto tool. I will say that I spent several hours fabracating it but then I'm slow. Charles I have sent you a PM.

Ok, for those of you that are interested the rear turn signals are Lockhart Phillips Short Stalk IV Part # 122-9826. As stated before they wouldnt fit the front as there too short to clear the headlamp shroud so I had to order another set. Those are Lockhart Phillps Short Stalk VI and the number on those are Part # 122-9871. Since I havent gotten those yet I cant say for sure if they will work ok or not. Hopefully I will pick those up this weekend. I will post about them once I get them and install them. Hope this helps.....

I couldn't find rear turn signals Lockhart Phillips Short Stalk IV Part # 122-9826 for sale anywhere. The direct company site you listed a few posts above doesn't seem to be functioning for this product -- shows price of zero and won't let you select product number. There was another that had it -- Then this site: http://www.chromeunlimited.com/ has it listed but not ability to buy it...and their email address is no longer valid.
Anyone find a place to order them?
I was just at my local dealer the other day, and was surprised to see that he had quite a few Lockhart Philips models hanging on the wall.
I asked him about them, and he said they look nice, but he won't carry them after these are gone because they break too easily ... the plastic is too brittle or something.
I ended up getting a set of Baja Designs turn signals that match the size and shape of the Acerbis dual sport handguard turn signals. They're not installed yet, but it looks like the fit should be pretty good. The lights stick half way out from the handles on the rack, and have a rubber mounting stem, so they can flex and let the rack take most of the hit. To give an idea of the scale, the whole turn signal is about the length of the stem on the stock turn signals. They're also DOT approved.

I'll post pics later this week after they're installed.
