You misunderstand me Tooter. I was trying to point out that what you are calling a "Dip" is just one indication of a much larger problem. Your entire power curve from off idle to approx 8000 rpm is a low performance abomination - artificially created via detune programming. Correct power curve shape is shown in my posted charts above.

You stand to gain far more than removing the "dip" if you remove the secondary throttle plate and dyno tune with a PCFC - it'll be like buying a whole new bigger bike !

Thanks for your concern, but for me It's not a problem because of how I use my bike, which is daily utility transportation under 50 mph on two lane rural roads.

So here’s my Dyno graph it made more torque then what I posted. Blue line is after fuel trims where corrected with djfc.

Your chart also demonstrates the effect on the curve of removing the secondary throttle butterfly. The "dip" is gone!

Now that I have a "baseline" (slipon only) dyno, I just scheduled another dyno test for Wednesday the 24th as I've been really curious as to the results of all of the experimental mods I did, especially the secondary butterfly removal. I'll post the results here when I have the chart.

The mid-range boost is very noticeable when on the trails.

Does anyone have a dynochart of before and after megabomb?

It is still kinda cool here, 40s and 50s on the good days.
I have few hours of trail riding with the mods (really sloppy, a little technical, not hard for old guy intermediate rider). Additional mods include 14/46 sprockets, D606 rear, MT21 front, IMS pegs, zeta offset risers and Renthal bars with much less sweep. I like my new setup.
Bike is a really nice trail bike (should come this way from Kawasaki), power is way better, the added midrange is really appreciated on the trails. The power delivery is nice with the PCFC map, runs flawless so far from off idle to 9K. I don't think I ever redline it, just making noise past 9K.
Thanks KLXSTER for helping me not overthink it, glad I yanked the secondary throttle plate.
Tooter, I recommend a PCFC and I will send you my map, it works well. I added a ton of fuel to the midrange/high throttle angle and that fuel is what will help with power, but more importantly long engine life.
Could I get your map file. I have the exact same setup and I am looking for a good map file for my PCFC

Kris250, Could I please get your map file. I have Del slip on exhaust, OS and Pair deletes, secondary removed and my PCFC is shipped and would love to load your map on that.

Chart with proper ignition timing. Not sure what is ECU though
