"FiNALLY, someone ( US ) have figured out how to get into the 2020-24 KLX 300 S and SM ECU, and make all the power in the world."

From the video description it sounds like they found a way to reprogram the stock ECU, not replace it or use a piggyback addon. I'm not sure why he says he won't run tests with an aftermarket pipe/header or other air box mods. I'm not really a fan of his 3/4 holes in the side of the air box as it looks like a great way to ingest water if the bike ends up on its side in even a shallow stream.

I replaced my snorkel with a kdx200 snorkel. Ive done the mods he requested minus drilling holes in the side of the airbox kuz I aint doing that, and sent in my ECU. Should be here next week. I won't be hitting a dyno but I'll let you know how my butt dyno feels lol

Great, I'm very curious to hear. For the idle problems he mentioned - remove spring which pushes the rocker inside throttle body. You will have steady idle!

I found and watched the video. The thing I don’t like is that he doesn’t explain what he does in the ecu to make changes. Also how he got into the ecu when others have failed. All the things he did to the bike minus the ecu will make that same power so I don’t really understand what he has done. Tooter is a good example. Same power no ecu flash. Something about this guy I dont trust. JMO

No way I'd send my ECM to a peep that drills holes in his airbox and cuts "gills" in the side of his silencer.

We are still waiting for the first 28-30 hp KLX300 to show up in here.

This milestone will go to the first owner that bolts on the full Barker exhaust system, buys a DJ PCFC, removes the secondary throttle valve, removes the airbox lid, and has the PCFC dyno tuned/set up to provide 12.8:1 AFR at all RPM's while at WOT.

Adding the MCM to such a build would create the ultimate KLX performer.

While I agree that cutting airbox is not the best idea, I still think he is making great effort uncorking the bike. The biggest problem is lack of ignition advance. Especially detune after 7500rpm. So if he nailed down how to reflash ECU then it's much better than installing fuel controller. Pinit racing (he puts their sticker on reflashed ecu) looks legit.
