KLX250sf to a KLX250s 2009 Model.
S rear are all the same except colors, the rotors for 09 and up is the bigger 240mm (I think). The previous ones are 220mm. I went to the 220mm swapping out the brake caliper mount from my 09 with one from an 06 so I could run the smaller rotor. The pads were not fully on the smaller rotor with the 09 bracket, but fully on the rotor with the 06 bracket.

Last comment on what I wanted in doing the smaller rear rotor...
Most of the braking is with the front, even in most off roading, but the smaller rotor has a shade less braking power, which rear wheel lock up in all conditions less likely unless intended. Not a bad thing for an experienced rider. Some new riders might do better with the more powerful rear brake.
My not doing the bigger front rotor was the cost. I'd like more power up front since it is easier to control with the hand lever, but the smaller S brake seems to work fine even with the stock line... but I do have a braided line I plan to install anyway this coming spring. If I found a good deal on the bracket I still might do the 300mm rotor yet.

Finally bagged a 2010 S front, inc S Rotor, so i'll try and sell the S rotor and buy an SF rotor, to keep things as simple and quick on the swap. Looking forward to trying this new setup out.
