Here's a pic of my setup. But I've got 3 1/2 inch risers on, so this probably wouldn't work for you.

As for km/liter, it's difficult for me to say. I don't ride the bike daily; only when I go riding in the mountains. Usually a lot of powering up steep inclines and coasting back down with engine off. Or flogging it through riverbeds. There was an obvious decrease in distance between fill ups after the big bore. I now carry a 1 liter spare fuel can that I occasionally have to use. My plans are to pick up an aftermarket fuel tank to add more range. I hate worrying if I have enough fuel. I've ended some rides early because of it.
