Default KLX Flat Tires

I ride alone many days and want to insure a flat tire won't leave me in the middle of nowhere.

Questions:

Does the KLX have a tube or is it tubeless

What do you carry to fix a flat

Thanks

Rik

The Klx has tubes. You'll need all the tools to remove the wheels, Tire irons, Hand pump, Replacement tubes. It is my experience that Fix-A-Flat type products don't work well.

I road 25 miles on a rear flat but it was a Dunlop D606 which are pretty stiff tires - it got me home (no damage to the rim either)! I've also used Fix-A-Flat on a leaking tube to get me back to "basecamp" - it's a quick and simple temp fix if you don't want to be playing roadside mechanic in the dirt. Of course you'll need to R/R the tube.
