it is true that almost all dealers around here are still selling the 07klx250 for 5999$ CDN. The bike is certainly attracting a lot of attention on ebay. I also posted on a few other sites that are free and i've been getting calls for the last 3 hours, all around my area too. I think selling this bike is going to be a lot easier than i thought.

 

It may look that way now, but don't hold your breath. I once had 53 watchers of another bike I put up on ebay. It didn't sell. I've also had bikes listed on craigslist and tons of people calling about it, even a couple guys come test ride the thing only to not ever hear from them again. Tirekickers are everywhere. I've learned to be very direct with them, telling them that if they're not serious about buying that I will not waste my time with them. If they want the thing bad enough, they'll put your attitude aside. You're the seller with what they want, no need to talk to everyone about it who is just looking. It's just my philosophy. But really, for $3800, or in your case $4000 you can expect it to sell, however I still don't expect you to get anything over a $3000 offer. Just don't plan on spending the money just yet.

Up here in Canada, the dealerships bend us over and do us dry with regards to bike prices.
Most of them haven't adjusted prices at all even with the US dollar now at par with Canadian.
And they wonder why the bikes are still sitting on the showroom floor. [&:]
The only retailers making real efforts to adjust prices fairly is the Harley dealers.
I know this because my wife works for the Canadian distributor (in AR dept) and she actually makes the price adjustments and sends the info to the retailers. They have made several adjustments in the past few months.

 

You guys just need to leave our resident know-it-all alone and let him continue on his humanitarian effort to save this poor young man from himself.
Are we all forgetting that behind the never ending spew of mindless redirect and condescending bs and miss-information lies a Gandhi-esque heart of gold yearning to better man-kind.
