The "K" in KTM is for Kawasaki
after watching some guys go up some steep ones around here with the Rekluse I wish I could get one after the 351 kit goes in I think I could get used to it; plus they have an option now to chg the clutch back to a conventional type in 5 minutes.
was there a "plug" in that KTM cover you just couldn't see from the out side?
how did it come off/out?

No, the KTM ignition cover is solid, no plug. That was the mod I did - to put one in. Or maybe I misunderstood your question? If so, hit me with it again.
from the inside it looked like a "plug"
how did you put the hole in so clean- and were the treads already there?
just trying to understand what you had to do, it looks great I'm just a curious monkey!

There were no threads on the inside, just the stator support. It looks so clean because I took it to a machine shop to do. They used this to tap it for the threads:

They did not have that size bit for the threads, so they said they'd have to charge me for it. I said fine. But when I went to pick up my cover, I made sure I got my bit, also.
So if any of you need to rethread your ignition cover plug for some reason, I have just the tap for it.
