Without the ACR, you can definitely tell the difference. The starter motor is more labored. That can't be the best thing for longevity of that tiny motor.

I have the -1533 on the way, is there a source for the connectors that you know of or can find? I really don't think the adapter is that hard to make, if I could find the factory style connectors. I am not paying $150 for some wires, if you know what I mean.

I looked at my adapter and there are no part numbers on the connectors. The guys that fab this thing up and sell it probably removed them on purpose.
The best advice I can give you is just to find some weather restant connectors with the appropriate number of pins, ala NAVKLX's post.
Another shot in the dark is to bring your bike to one of those automotive electrical specialty shops that are all over Japan and have them look the connectors. Maybe they can source them for you.
