Default Pulling the kids in a sled

Got a good snow today, and it's Saturday so once I got a few driveways cleared it was time to play. Tied a sled to the back of the bike and told my son to hop in. Conditions weren't great, because there was half melted and then frozen snow under neath the new stuff. Puffing through the new snow was not hard, but the crusty stuff underneath kept slowing me down, and the old snow had ruts and bumps in it that kept taking my front wheel where I didn't want it to go. We have done the bike/sled thing in years past and it worked better. Kids still had fun this time. A kid on a sled really pulls the rear end sideways going around corners. I dumped it twice , can't remember how many times the kids fell out. Here's a few pics. Might put up some video later if I can figure youtube out.=)

I like it. good quality time with the kids. I'd be all over that if my son weren't 6'2" and 200 .lbs Now that I think of it I should get him to pull me.... Now that would be a sight.....

6'2" and 200 .lbs, Ha ha yeah, I don't think that would work, it was hard enough pulling a 50 pound 7 yr old. He wanted to stay inside and watch a movie, but once I made him go out and play, he stayed out the whole afternoon. Mav, I know he got plenty of snow in the face,lol, but he said most of it was blowing up from the front of the sled.

LOL, good stuff, Dan, reminds me of the stuff we did when we were kids. BTW, that '07 looks sharp!

what did you have the rope tied to? lol... gonna rip off the rear subframe.... hehe
