Sorry i didnt see this post sooner, i could have told you i had the same problem,
i noticed it when i was coming to a slow stop at a light or something like that,
but when i put my bike on the jack the handlebars would bind up without much effort,
they don't put much grease in at the factory.sorry it's too late to help you but maybe someone will have the same problem
and this will save them some time.

I just bought a new '07 KLX250S a couple days ago. On the ride home from the dealer I noticed the bike was weaving at slow speeds. I bumped the tire pressure up to 22psi front and rear. That didn't help. I've got a little over 100 miles on the bike now, and it's great fun in the dirt (I did about 20 miles off-road after work yesterday), but the weaving on the street is pretty annoying. I think I'll take it back to the dealer and have them check it out. I hope I don't have to do the steering bearings myself, but if I have to, I will. I need to fix the weaving problem, it's not safe (plus, it makes me look goofy, wobbling down the road!)

Mine does too, but I think it could be from the different imperfections in the road.....or all the wipe outs I've had I'm sure somethings crooked [>:]

Be sure and set your rear suspension sag and get proper front and rear springs for your weight.

Thanks, I'll check the sag.

I weigh about 160 lbs., hopefully the stock springs can handle that.

Well, I've yet to check the sag. But, I did check all the spokes and found many that needed a bit of cinching. I've got them all singing roughly the same tune.

Took the bike out for about a 20 mile ride and alas, no wobbling, no headshake.

I happy again.[sm=burnout.gif]
