anyone here know anything about central heating for homes ? my heater keeps going out. once the pilot is lit, the furnace lights, it starts to blow out heat through the vents but about 10 minutes later the fire goes out ? its a old cuisin air unit. any ideas ?

 

its your fan limit or the flame rod most likley the fan limit

 

Check your filter and make sure its not clogged. Are all your registers open? If you have closed off to many it will cause the furnace to over heat and it will limit out. Fan switch is a possible as well.

Post your furnace brand and model if possible and it will help me diagnose. Is it Also if you are handy with a multi meter you can call me and I can walk you through further diagnosis.
