Be careful with those trials tires, they are not DOT. At the pinebarrens ride a Fish & Game ossifer checked out tires for DOT stamps, I had cut a stamp off some old tires and glued it on. He passed right by, I also sanded the "Not for highway use" off, LOL.

But know for the nail in my tire Duane needs to get his sights fixed on his blow dart stick.

Scat, i saw dennis kirk has Aluminiun tire irons that have an axle nut wrench on the opposing side. It should be light and would kill two birds with one stone.

Patrick and Jimmi from Dirt Bike Television at the NE Ride had some really slick irons. Hard to even call them irons - they were feather light, their weight is very deceptive they are so light - almost like styrofoam. They are Blue Ridge Racing's T7 combo tire spoons axle wrench:

Kind'a pricey, but after seeing them up close I think I'll be picking up a couple or three.

I'll probably carry a tube as well, although it's hard to believe I'd pick up something like that again. But if you're out a ways, it would be good to carry one. The rear tube would be a good thing to have, more so than the frontbecause you can keep the weight off the front, but not the back. I might look for a permanent case for the rack just for tools and tire fixing gear. Would your Pelican fit it all in?
