Default I got a new wrench!

Scat and I went out riding at Reiter yesterday. We didn't bring a camera but the day was really nice. About 2 hours into it, Scott picked up a nail in his rear tire. We didn't have the tools or materials needed for repair, but we were lucky enough to find someone that had an extra tube and some tools with them and Scott got it fixed and we were on our way about an hour later. About an hour after this, we were headed out to go get some lunch, and all of the sudden I start hearing a clanking noise towards the rear. I stop and sure enough, I've got a flat as well.

2 flats within 2 hours of each other. What are the odds of that?

Even more interesting is what was the cause of my flat. Check out the picture below to see what I was looking at when I stopped! [sm=insomnia.gif]

The good news is it's an 8mm/10mm so I'll be able to get good useout of the wrench!!

Rough day! Looks like a second tear in the tire just below the wrench. F.Y.I. the Kenda K270's are pretty nice for dual sporting and the price is right.

It's always good to get new tools. Too bad it cost you a tyre

besides the wrench in the tire, how is the traction and wear on the gp1's doing. I just put a set on but havn't really had a chance to test them.

This tire has about 2100 miles on it. I could probably have gotten another 1500-2k miles out of it. I've actually been wanting to get a new one that does better off road. The GP1 is really nice and smooth on the pavement, but off road the traction is not all that great when it's wet out.

Wow that really throws a wrench into the situation, I hope you didn't wrench your back changing the tire, Sorry I just had to, but that really does suck.
