Front Stainless Steel Brake Line for a 2007 KLX250S?

I'm working on a way to fix the 09+ Galfer front line to the 06/07. So far I've got the lines, the UFO guards, a Zeta brake line clamp, a line guide from the 09, and some plastic epoxy. I plan to try it in the next week or so, I'll make sure to let everyone know how it goes.

FWIW I reposted the CR wrap illustration the KLX650 guys did. You could test the length and path by using some cheap rubber or plastic tubing before having a line made up. As said, the KLX650 and pre-2007 KLX250/300 used the same general fork design where it involves brake lines and guards. I have a 650 and my brother has an 07 KLX250 and the fork similarity was the first thing I noticed.

Thanks klx678. For some reason I missed that there were more comments in this thread. I'm going to a local company that can supply the Hel system with banjos. I'll remove the original and take it with me. Where there's a will there's a way!

I bought klx300 galfer lines when they had a sale for front and rear. Fit my 2007 fine once I rerouted the front

Dont forget that the fork gaurds have a slide over them, you simply cannot attach a clamp to them for the CR wrap. I added a SS line to my 07, it was a bit of an ordeal but it really works well.

The line could be zip tied to the fork guard by drilling two small holes for the zip tie to pass through. Make them a bit small, wobble the drill to slot them a bit, then insert the zip tie through the two holes so the tie is outside the guard. Keep the holes relatively close so the tie won't catch when the fork compresses.
I think the KLX650 guys cut the guard out a bit where the cable wraps back, that way they can put it in the channel of the guard.
