Default Front Brake pads, where and what to buy.

Time to change my front brake pads. Please advise on best brand, type and retailer. So many choices, Sintered, Carbon Kevlar, OEM. Give me the lowdown from experience.

Get EBC pads. They had a noticeable increase in stopping power. Im guessing you can order them from almost anywhere.

Galfer are good too...

I wouldn't get a real aggressive pad as it would wear the rotor too much. I'd rather replace the pads more often even if it means having to squeeze the brake lever a bit harder.

Very hard to beat the Kawa oem pads with the bigger SF rotor!

Not tried the EBC pads but I personally like the DP pro-mx sintered front pads. There not cheap & pretty hard to find online.

I looked at this conversion but the individual parts prices to buy a new rotor, calliper, pistons & mounting bracket made it worth more than the bike! The extra stopping power due to the bigger lever effect would have been great. The front suspension would have to be stiffened as well as nose diving would have been worse.
