Default Fork Trouble

While hitting a small jump the other day i noticed a Loud noise coming from my front fork, it sounds like something is snapping or cracking. Has anyone experienced this before?

Are your fork protectors ok? I would check anything else on the front that might be making the noise.

I would suggest looking for something that might hit the tire when the fork is compressed

Make sure the brake line is not blocked up top. If it can't move freely, it can bend in the middle and get pushed into the tire and make a weird noise when the forks compress.

+1. My money's here.
Happened to mine when the RAM mount moved and blocked the brake line. Ugly noise. burnt a small hole in the plastic tube. Brake line is all good though. Reinforced the area with a bit of rubber hose.

if it from inside the tubes, you may be low on fork oil and need to have them rebuilt. thats how i could tell mine needed to be done.
