Marty:
How much did Bill Blue charge to modify the carb? $263 for the carb shipped. Thats a very good deal. I kinda "mentioned" to the wife today that I would like to try this carb mod and she didnt seem shocked at the price.

Bills rate is very reasonable. I don't want to put words in his mouth though, so maybe Marty can put you in contact with him since I seem to have lost his email address.

MavericksAus,

Where are you seeing that, I think I'm missing it for some reason.

I see the Ron Ayers cost for the carb, but can't seem to find the Bill Blue cost. (I hear that eyesight is the first thing to go when your getting OLD[])

I had also posted to Marty asking about the Bill Blue costs. Can you direct me to where that cost is as I am very interested in doing this mod and want to see what the total tally comes up to.

Thanks..

Marty,

Nice to see your bike running with it's new found lungs.

Sorry if you mentioned this elswhere, but what mods did your 250 have previous to the flat-slide?

Did you notice any improvement other than quicker throttle response? How close do you feel you are with the jetting? Is your main jet accessable without removing the carb? Is your pump cam adjustable like Tremor38's?

How long did it take Bill to turnaround your carb?

Sorry for the multitude of questions , you just happen to be the poster guinea pig for Bills carb modded option. Unless there are others that I have not read.

Cheers.

This option is looking attractive to me. Is there a reason 36mm as a carb option, has not ben utilized, especially if looking at a 300cc option?
