Default exhaust shield bolt size?

Firstly, sorry Deej.

Ok, now that that's out of the way... does anyone happen to know the size of this bolt? I neglected to bring one with me to compare at the hardware store on the way home. Parts fiche says 6x8 so I'm guessing 6mm bolt 8mm long, but thread pitch? 6x1.0?

If I had something to measure the pitch I would.

Turns out I do have something to measure. Yep. I get 6mm at the shank by 8mm length with 1.00mm pitch. It is keyed with a 4mm head.

How'd you get that out? We tried on mine. Juice, torch, rattle gun. No go. That shield isn't coming off without drilling out the bolt.

I have those and a new shield in a box somewhere. Remember I added bling to my bike after the Muzzy install.

I'm with Deej. Actually since I had the one bolt off I took off the the other two and hit the exhaust with a 1500 grit wet sand and shined it up!
