Thx FM...I was concerned about the plexi-glass melting, but now that it's on the bike..I don't think it will. The velcro stuck to the plexi-glass and headlight act as a spacer, so there's actually about 1/4-inch of airspace between the headlight and plexiglass. BUT there's always room for another switch to kill the headlight during the daytime (don't do the dirtroads and trails after dark anyway)
The plexi-glass is a good cheap investment...my riding buddy usually leads (he's from the country and knows some nice trails/roads) and he is now running the trackmaster on his drz400...a lot of rocks get flung off his rear tire..I gotta stay at least 50 feet behind him and still manage toget hit now and then... lol[&:]
