Looking for some advice before I start taking the seat off ...I was taking a ride today ...and going from first to second I missed the shift and it sounded like it backfires through the carb and died ,Pulled over started it and as soon as I give it a little throttle it dies .I know I've got plenty of gas but I put it on reserve anyway start it ,same thing looking a little harder I notice the overflow tube has gotten too close to the header and has melted shut ..Easy fix cut the end off thinking I found my problem, but it does the same thing ,So I'm at a loss .I was going to drain the float bowl and see if the float somehow got stuck..but I really don't know what to do but take it apart and look for the problem Any ideas? thanks
