OK, I just removed my KACR as it had begun to score a light circle in the tappet. Replaced the tappet and pressed out the KACR using a a large bolt, HF small bearing separator, and a hydraulic press. Very controlled procedure and was never really in fear of damaging the cam.
Still starts well but I do believe the instant-starting benefit was mostly from the MCM and not necessarily the KACR-disable.

Crazy, i wonder how many other tappets are being worn away by the KACR and people dont know...

I am continually amazed how my 330 starts, it literally starts before I can take my finger off the starter, 1 revolution and bang.
