With the cvk carb I had a 40 pilot jet, fuel mixture screw was out 1-1 1/4 turns out, dj 2206 needle clip in the middle 3rd or 4 th groove from the top, slide drilled as per the instructions, largest main jet provided in that kit. No airbox lid, uni filter, fmf powerbomb header/two bros exhaust w quiet insert. All the free mods were done. Smog equipment removed n sealed off. I’m at sea level.
Higher elevations may require smaller 38 or stock 35 pilot jet depending on your area.

The clutch pull is a bit harder, but not really a problem. It took a bit to get used to as it grabs hard with the new plates and springs not as gradual. I stalled it a few times turning at low speeds, I just have to get used to more throttle when starting up.

I can offer a 351 CVK setup for running with a lidless airbox - if you want to experience lidless performance, let me know..
