Clarke tank....reserve feature?

RE: Clarke tank....reserve feature?
The Clarke tank uses the same petcock as the stock tank. Additionally, the two tank fuel filters play a part in the reserve function. One outlet (the reserve) gets it fuel from the bottom of the tank whereas the other outlet gets its fuel from a higher level. Look at 49019 and 49019A in the drawing (both of these parts are removed from the stock tank and inserted into the Clarke Tank).
I haven't done the measurement, but I estimated that about 0.5 gallon is left when you have to switch over to reserve.

RE: Clarke tank....reserve feature?
Neat !
Thats what I was hoping as i do ride on the road ALOT and I didnt want to have to carry fuel bottles around town....haha
So far it looks like I'm wanting the dirtbagz saddle bags...and duffle bag..with a pelican case on the back for fuel bottles.
Then I'm wanting the clarke tank.....and hopefully apowerbomb header and 2 bros pipe.
I already have a 13T countershaft sprocket..looks like this bike will soon be ready for commuter duty /backwoods explorer!!!
