Have you received a notice from kawi about the recall on the grips? I got notice yesterday that they need replaced because the throttle grip could be loose and separate itself from the throttle itself. Mine are tight and I do not plan on taking it in. I like the oem grips and don't really want some person working on my bike that could care less about it. Just wondering who has got the recall notice and what you think.

hey I have that problem with mine but only after I hacked the ends off when I put the acerbis guards on,
now I figure I am just going to use some light weight glue but yeah it gets really #$@%^&# annoying when you go to twist it for some juice and you go no where and stall the bike.

interesting, that's when I got mine. I have yet to experience the problem. Even if I do, I sure wouldn't take it to a dealer to fix the grips. gmab
but, nonetheless it is pretty good on kawis part to recognize the problem and take care of it. good to see some people that actually have the '09KLX have replied. too bad we had to have a bit of a "let's see who can find the dumbest picture on the internet" contest, all because of seven letters and an addiction to them: i-o-w-a-g-u-y. y'all are too predictable.
