Mounted mine up this weekend also. The seat clip at the front sorta gave me trouble, but I figured out the technique after a bit. As far as the fit, I think it mounts better than the stocker. I've always had trouble getting the two screws on the side to line up, but on this tank it was flawless. When you pull the fuel taps to transfer them from the stock to the Clarke, you will see they have two different threads so you can't reverse them. Fitting the Wolfman tank bag was another challenge..I slid it aft just a bit more and it's ok, though I'll need to find a 90 degree elbow to fit to the cap and the vent hose. The bag wants to lean up the side of the hose.It's all good, it's just part of building a bike.

 

Don't mean to hijack the thread... but if anyone want's to get rid of their stock tank once they've upgraded lemme know. I dented my OEM tank pretty good but can't swing the $$ for a Clarke right now. Thanks!

Hmmm... hadn't thought about that. My bike's at home so I'm not looking at it. Does the OEM cap just unbolt?
