Don't forget Black shows imperfections the most......white the least. If I ever get an aftermarket tank it will be one of those see thru natural ones. (how can plastic be natural lol)

+1 more, "FM", Plus you can see the contents in the "clear" Clarke. Additionally, I would think that any imperfections... such as he has shown on the black tank, would be less visible. ???? Personally, I have a small black cloth "Tank Bag" that will effectively cover any imperfections on my bike.

I'd send that one back. On my black Clarke tank, you can barely see the parting line down the center. It'sshiny black and doesn't have any scratches or dullness to it. Yes, black shows scratches the worst, and mine had a scratch or two from handling when I got it, but nothing like that - not even close. Send it back and tell them you think they sent you an earlyprototype by accident.

Hey JB7, I'd be really peeved if I recieved that, I'd be asking for a replacement, I like my bike to look nice, clean shiny etc etc, (it will never be the same as DEEJ's but), I just think that the finish is rather poor.

My opinion only.

Cheers
Chris.

Does anyody know if a stock tank off a 06-07 KLX300 will fit the KLX250S?
Not without re-routing the main wiring harness, repositioning the ignition coil and replacing the stock cooling fan with smaller, aftermarket units...or doing away with the fan altogether, which I wouldn't advise.

If you are willing to go to all of that trouble, it's doable, but why not just go with the IMS, which gives you 3.2 gal with the same mods?

Chris (CWGOFF) did it.... i dont remember him saying anything about the fan... he picked this one up for free... he traded someone his stock metal tank for this...

Trust me my bike doesn't look clean anymore, its been over three weeks since I rode and 3 months since I washed it. The chain is rusty now, thanks for reminding me.

I like seeing grown men's wife's pose with their bikes (no offence), and let's make that: some wife's.
Now if you're not married or are better looking then your old lady (you know who you are) then pose with your bike.
My wife (aka: a poor sport) took my camera after I ambushed her in the shower with it.
