Bill Blue big bore 351
#21
This is just with the bike sitting in my driveway. I haven't tried to drive off yet until the bike will stay running without the choke. Any thoughts as for why this is? I only have the 351 big bore & rejet the carb. Everything, and I mean everything else is stock.

#38 pilot based on what I have learned here and talking with bill blue. I would like to go riding this week, but the weather man says rain all the way until friday/saturday.

Yeah, I've been following your thread about the starter. Those little suckers cost alot of money.

The 351 kit plus susp upgrades makes it a awsome bike!! A couple hundred miles so far and it keeps getting better.Remember to put in some barnett springs before you start to burn your clutch plates.

Do you have a part # for the springs? How do you know when the clutch is going bad? I've never had one go bad on me before, including on my old 85 CR 125 that I raced for years.

part # is 501-25-06043. for kx250 i believe.you will see you rpm go up but wont accelrate when you get slipage.Best to change the springs before you burn the plates as you will probably gear to stock gearing after 351 kit.also you might want to try a bit bigger main it will help a bit in hard starting, 38 pilot should be perfect size.( im running a 132 main (kiehn) and im at 4000ft elevation.)
