Some of the 09's need to have the choke drilled out...maybe yours does too. What size pilot jet you running?

The 351 kit plus susp upgrades makes it a awsome bike!! A couple hundred miles so far and it keeps getting better.Remember to put in some barnett springs before you start to burn your clutch plates.

Do you have a part # for the springs? How do you know when the clutch is going bad? I've never had one go bad on me before, including on my old 85 CR 125 that I raced for years.

part # is 501-25-06043. for kx250 i believe.you will see you rpm go up but wont accelrate when you get slipage.Best to change the springs before you burn the plates as you will probably gear to stock gearing after 351 kit.also you might want to try a bit bigger main it will help a bit in hard starting, 38 pilot should be perfect size.( im running a 132 main (kiehn) and im at 4000ft elevation.)
