Default Big Gun Packing

Question for you guys, I have had my big gun on for awhile now, well before i ever took out the quiet core i put a few hundred miles on it, then i took it out for a 10-15 mile ride, put it back in, put some more miles on it. Then when i went to take it out again some of the packing was packed against the end of the muffler all around the quiet core. Removed the packing just chillin there, then rode it, put that quiet core back in and last night i took it out again and there was more packing at the end of the muffler around the quiet core.. Is this normal? Has anyone else had this happen, or even taken out the quiet core? little help, kinda scared me, want to make sure notings wrong. Thanks in advance.

i was worried at first also. i emailed big gun and they said it was normal and the insert made it worse bc of increased backpressure. they suggested repacking every 10 hours.

Makes me glad I've got the Muzzy on its way. I'll have to run the quiet core.
