Default big gun

I went on the big gun web site today looking for the complete system. the price for the system wasnt bad ,but I have one guestion reading about the system it says that you dont need to rejet. Is this true? It also said it would void the warenty if you didnt. Has anyone ran the full system with out rejeting. I dont know if it makes a diff but I live and ride at 3200 ft.

If you have a USA spec bike you need to rejet anyway. She's "kneecapped" in OE spec.

You've got to rejet with that pipe. Not to mention that you also need to open the bike up by removing the snorkel, replacing it with the larger KDX snorkel, or run with the air box lid removed. When you do rejet it also depends on which core you are running with. It all depends on how loud you want the bike and what type of riding you are doing. I just got the pipe (EVO R for this years model or EVO X for older models) and I ordered back in January.

A rejet is required. It's a good idea even without a new exhaust. Our USA spec rides are lean, lean, lean from the factory.

Thanks for the info I thought it sounded kind of strange that you didnt have to rejet. when I order my pipe I hope it doesnt take 7 months to get it that would drive me crazy.

I'm having a hard time finding the KDX snorkel. Is there another search term or specific part number I should be looking for?
