Hey Horizon, I need to get a new GOOD fillet knife my current is running out of metal.

I know a good fillet knife is pricey....looking for 10" perhaps a bit longer, blade medium flex with a leather sheath that I can hang on my hip...I need to be able to make a razor sharp edge on a wet stone.

Suggestions.....I'll buy it thru your store of course.

We handle mostly tactical and automatic knives but I can get you any kind of knife you want at special KLX riders prices if you have something in mind.

If you want a REALLY AWESOME fillet knife Microtech has the Black Marlin. I can get you one for around $100-$125 and you'll never need another. They come partially serrated as well.

Or, if you have something else in mind let me know. I can get it

Thats nice and it's also the quality I'm looking for...but thats more of a boning knife than a true fillet knife...and the blade is too short.

I'm looking for a replacement for my disposable Rapala Fillet knife...which only seems to last a few seasons....it has a 9" blade, I'd prefer a bit longer, say 10 or 11 inches...very thin and flexible....here's a pic of one off their website.

This is the style I'm looking at for my needs...but long lasting quality..what ya got.

EDIT: What's an automatic knife..lol.....I'll do some google-ing too...but I can't seem to find what I want.

An automatic knife opens with the push of a button. Some swing open from the side and some come straight out the front.

Here are 3 production versions:

Here is a Buck 110 converted to "automatic".

Here are a couple of Case knives converted to automatic.

Go to www.moteng.com and type "fillet knife" in the search box. We can get anything there for 20-40% below the price marked.

Look at this one. Buck, 14.36 inches with a 9.63 inch blade.
