The tip was just some 1 1/2" exhaust pipe I picked up at Advanced Auto and welded to a plate to keep the exhaust off my lunch bag I usually have on the rack. Mine didn't have the end cap but from what I've read its about the same size as the stock 250 outlet so I'd agree with KLXer and just ditch the end cap if yours has one.

Its louder than stock, quieter than most Harleys and definitely quieter than a Big Gun Evo X w/out the quiet core. I've not gotten any second looks anywhere, but it is loud enough that I wear earplugs usually.

 

i use a stock kdx rear sprocket. 47 teeth. the klxstock chain works fine.
