Another Stock Exhaust Question
Has anyone ever cut the stock exhaust silencer open lengthwise? I'd like to see the stock exaust path and what we bypass by drilling the first and maybe second internal baffle. It would begreat if someone has some pictures that they could post.I know some have been opening up the end and making some changes, but we may be able to come up with a standard modification for the inside and the end to reducebackpressure, increaseflow andget a little more HP, but still keep the stock look.
Thanks, Glen

RE: Another Stock Exhaust Question
Thanks, That helps.
So, the first point that we drill through the end, must be the back of the cone. Is this section considered the spark arrestor and the areaaheadofthat has the silencer packing? I wonder if we could use a hole saw to open up the end of the pipe and then insert a larger diameter to get closer to the flow of the 300 pipe -or after opening it up,use one of the billet 300 caps that are available?
Anyone tried this?
Thanks, Glen
