But this is why the North American motor industry suck ***** and make pieces of **** vehicles. It's also why 100 of thousands of workers have lost their jobs . I've had more problems and thrown more money and time into my 99 "Build Ford Tough" F-150 (which I baby!) then my 86 Toyota pick up (Which I literally beat the **** out off and it kept coming back for more) Once you go Jap you never go back!

Even BMW has standards for people to be certified to work on their bikes. A local shop here called Anderwerks does BMW Motorrad servicing and the guys are amazing, always done right, no shortcuts, true craftsmen. I dont mind paying more if I know its done right.

As for a feeler gauge, not needed, I can usually eyeball to the +/- 0.05mm
