can these bikes do 11.000 rpm an hold to geather ?????

i think the rev limiter is set at 10,500... but go a head hold it there and let us know what happens.

i feel the power fade at about 9000 do they make a cdi box that it with make more power up at 10-5.

go get a kx450F if you want to rev it to the moon ....this motor isn't made to produce power at that rpm level....no matter what you do to it.
The cams are what hold it back.remember, a kx250F can rev to the moon to build power but from that comes a price.....rebuilding the head.I think Kawi recommends 40-60 hours for a head overhaul.How many miles would that be?3000? that would get old real fast.

Even with the cam change the timing is more of the problem.

7500rpm is as far as I've taken it to. I just don't see the point to rev the **** out of a 250 enduro. On the road I hit between 5000 and just over 6000rpm. On the highways I will sit on 5500-6000rpms nicely cruising along, the KLX seems to like that spot (6000) and if traveling long distance I can sit on that all day no problem and the KLX just smiles back at you.
