allright, Im about to do this as well.. dont mind me picking your brain for a sec...

-what did you use for sealant on the headgasket?
-did you clean all the soot off your head before bolting it back down?
-how are you planning on breaking it in?
-how did you change your jetting?

thanks alot, please come back with a ride report!

what did you use for sealant on the headgasket? i used copper spray from napa

did you clean all the soot off your head before bolting it back down? yes i used scotch brite pads and then clean all surfaces with thinner and try not to touch anything

how are you planning on breaking it in? i let it run up to operating temp then i let it cool then run it around a little at 1/4 throttle then again at no more then half
This has always worked for me but everyone has there own opoin on this subject

how did you change your jetting i talked to a guy on here and he was running the stock carb with the 351 kit i used 132 main 35 pilot needle in middle clip air screw 2 turns out
