2009 Klx 250s not running as well after rejet?

I had to turn the idle down a bit after I rode it. I think the sweet spot for me is between 3 and 2 3/4 turns out. Just need to dial it in. Bike is fun as hell to ride now and I hope that I don't get a ticket trying to dial it in.
