Well I don't expect my setup to work for everyone. Only those meet the same conditions that I have, and that I have charts and data for - near sea level, stock or stock + DJ kitted CVK34, lid off, Slip-on or full exhaust, and, based on a few members' reports, the MCM is not required.

Having data that shows the gain - which is big enough to feel - over standard stage 2, I want everyone to have the chance to get that power.

If your bike will not rev past 8.5K and has flat spots wth 132/4n then there is something very different between your engine/carb and mine. At any rate, I'm sorry you didn't get the results.

About comparing needles - Richard was not running the stock needle. He was running the N1TC ( KLX300?) needle. If DJ and Keihin jets ARE comparable as the DJ guy told me, then that needle must be way richer than the DJ needle at WOT. Any other issues with DJ components should be easily answered with a call to DJ.

They shove the AFR probe in the exhaust, all the way into the head pipe near the exhaust port - standard procedure... They position it at the same location I've seen bungs for the AFR meters..
The MCM.. I am not aware that advancing the intake cam and retarding the exhaust
cam would increase overlap - I assumed overlap would be lessened. But none-the-less, the MCM is incredible.

I believe the MCM adds about 15-16 degrees of overlap. Unfortunately, it does it without adding duration.

I rode the bike for 3 hrs hard in the woods today and it's by far the best it's ever run. Not only that, but the fuel economy is much better. How much I'm not sure, but I hit the reserve at 80km on my last tank, and now I'm at 85 much harder km, and still not on reserve.

Nonetheless, it's all speculation and BS until the wideband is on and we know for sure.
