13/48 sprocket mod
when Kaw. built the swingarm for the 250s they welded the chainguide bracket in a different spot than the klx 300 and the kdx 200.
with the factory chainguide, 48 tooth sprocket is the biggest you can get in there, but the adjusters maxed out to the rear leaving no
room for adjusting after some wear. I bolted a piece of 3/16 x 1 1/2 strapiron to the factory bracket, tossed the factory chainguide, and
put an aftermarket one on for a klx 300. the adjusters are now set on #1 notch with 108 link chain. plenty of room for sprocket now.
