Default Latest mod: front sprocket +1 teeth

Yeah ! I just went +1 teeth on the front sprocket (from 14 to 15)...so I am an happy rider now !
The reason I wanted one more teeth on the front sprocket is because I do a bit more pavement than dirt but I'll never change the KLX witch I like very much. So going one more teeth dropped the rpm about 500rpm at 60MPH without compromising too much power. I have to say I'm a light rider (150 pounds) so the tiny 250cc power plant doesn't suffer too much !
I dropped the rpm's, so for the vibrations in the rear end ! What a piece of cake the daily commute to work will be !

I am in the process of getting a 13, might go one up on the back also depending how the 13 works out. I couldn't imagine trying to ride any kind of tight trails or woods with a 15.

I've messed up. I never changed my gearing, but I found out recently that on Kenda's website, a 4.50x18 is taller than a 4.60x18. So in effect, it makes if feel like a lower final drive ratio or like adding those extra teeth on the sprockets.

try a 130 606, or probably any 130/140 you can fit on the bike. makes it feel/handle like a tw200, and equivalent to a tooth on the front sprocket.
