'm fairly new to this.. but how does one even check the CDI or crankshaft sensor? I have an 07 KLX250s and i have no spark whatsoever, it turns over, just no spark. I've tried multiple spark plugs and its the same regardless. I've determined that the problem is somewhere between the ignition coil and the Igniter. How to isolate or even know how to get a solution once found. Help please.

 

I had kinda of the same problem with my 06. According to the service manual the only way to check the cdi is with a new one. To check the crank sensor or pickup coil is to unplug it from the connector, white one i think, and check the ohms. The same method is used for the coil as well. After you check everything and find out the cdi is the problem I have a brand new in box, never used cdi for sale at a good price. I bought a new one but it wasnt the problem.
