07 klx250 big gun
Just put the big gun full system on my 07 KLX250 (thanks to slap drum for the system)
Huge difference! No jetting yet, just took the lid off the airbox and turned the fuel screw out roughly 1.5 turns.
and sounds sweet as! once you change the exhaust on these things you really realise how bad the stock system is!
Well its a 300 kit, k&n filter and jetting next!
Then eventually some motard wheels and thats that!

You should be safe with the air lid...and it still sounds badass

Yeah, I might have done the same thing back in 2006 (letting the excitement get the better of me), but i kind of did my mods in reverse order. I dropped in a Yosh pumper fully jetted for a race exhaust, but still had the stock 'pea shooter' installed. It still sounded like a wheezy little 'girly bike' until my aftermarket exhaust arrived, but the front wheel sure came-up easily.
