$1000 to spend
Hey man my KLX is an 09 and is stage 2 with a dynojet kit and a few mods, mostly pulled off stuff that I don't use. Done all work myself and it's two or three times better than stock. If you need help pm me as I can share my experiences with it and maybe a hand. I live west of Bloomington about 10 miles.
So, I decided to spend my original monies this way:
Q4 Slip on
Dynajet Stage 2
Bash plate
Kouba Screw
Nomadic Tail rack
IMS Tank
snorkel (will contact landon about his)
New bars (done)
Knuckle guards (done)
Ram ball mounts (done)
That leaves about enough to take the wife out to dinner.......as reccomended on this site.
Ill do these things and ride it this season........will probably mess with a 331 kit and suspension this winter when it's to cold to ride.

You don't need to buy a Kouba screw. You can easily use a flat-head bit. The mixture screw can be adjusted with your fingers and the bit.
Cool.....that put $25 towards the 331 kit.
The Q4 is a little long and could cause your blinker to melt. I went with the PowerCore 4 for that reason. They also have a quiet core insert for them, if you dont like it all that loud. For me it is just fine.
The Q4 is not going to cause your turn signal to melt. My blinker is mildly warm after a long ride.
You all must have small hands, there is no way I could get my bear paw into the small space with at screw bit and adjust the fuel screw. I cannot even do it with the kuoba screw, I have to take a screw driver and us the tip to turn the screw in or out.
