Well, I talked to my boss today and I think I have weaseled about a 4 hour early out of work on Thursday, January 11th. From work to home is about 35 minutes and home to Camp Indian Springs is about 4 hours. I hope to be there about 4:30 on Thursday!

We shall ride, ride and then ride some more.

There's dirt all around there!

Heck there's even a little single track riding right on the propety!

Wow, it seems like a lot of you guys will make it!

Marty,

After putting my bike on that wal-mart hitch carrier I decided it wasn't worth it to modify. It's way too flimsy and I have to remove my tire carrier for the bike to clear. I was on craigslist the other day and there was a trailer for 3 bikes for $75. After calling the seller, I immediately jumped in the truck with Youmi and Buddy and bought this:

It needs a little TLC, but I think it was a great buy, the ramps even hinge for easy loading!

I can carry two other bikes if anyone needs a lift (FM, Jellyfish, LV)?

If anyone wants to "truck-pool" via Atlanta (Kennesaw), let me know. I've got a crew-cab F-1-fiddy that can hold my bike and at least one more. Course I can pull a trailer too (no, I don't have one).

Sounds like a great trip, I'd love to join up but already made plans with my "other dual sport" friends to be on the North Shore of the Dominican Republic from Jan 11-16 enjoying the "Cold Brews and Tasty Waves...."

(Oh yeah, and for EMS_0525, the north coast is FULL of NUDE BEACHES from Enquantros to Playa Grande!!.... I suddenly remember why I took up surfing at 14!!!)

Yeah, I'm sure they'll all swoon as you sit your imaginary bike going "BRUM! BRRRUUMM!" You could do wheelies all day with no worries of breaking the tail light! J/K, I coudn't resist! I hope that slow azz dealer gets your bike running like a watch soon.

LOL... damn how did you know i do that.... but its not an imaginary bike, its my mountain bike, and i can wheelie that too.... but i just have to put a playing card in the spokes.. but to get a deep big gun sound i put a half blown up balloon in the spokes....lol ... yea i sure hope i get it back soon too.

speaking of that... marty, is this one of those places where you need a spark arrestor? would running with the quiet core out be too loud for this kind of riding? cause that usually how i ride, no spark, no quiet core, but i can put it in if its gonna be too loud...

tremor38,

Now that's quite a visual!

EMS,

If you don't have the quiet core, no problemo.

You automatically get behind me!
