Do they use the wider pan on the DR?

It appears to be. Wide and flatter-extremely comfortable.

Default Sargent seat installed today - FANTASTIC

I put a Sargent seat on my 2010 KLX250S today and this thing is great. I couldn't ride much after putting it on because it got late in the day and it was cold, foggy and the roads were slick but I did enough to know it was an improvement that was well worth the money for me. Price was $370 with shipping but I have a 58 year old *** and some arthritis in my hips and lower back. It was either this or start thinking about selling the bike. It's going to be a lot more pleasant to sit on and a lot more fun to ride. The seat looks really good, too. I'm 100% happy with the Sargent.

A long time ago, I made a mistake and ordered a Russell Day Long Touring Saddle for a BMW I owned at the time. Actually, it was not a mistake, in fact it was the single best thing I ever did for my motorcycling time. However, since then I have put a Russell on a KLR 650 and a GL1800 GW. Now I'm getting ready to purchase a 2020 KLX 250 and a Russell will go on this bike too. My recommendation, just go with the best from the start, never look back and never regret it either. The Russell slogan is that you can ride a 1000 miles in a day and not be sore. I rode my KLR to Alaska and was never sore. They are a great seat.

I'm in the market for a seat. How does Sargent compare to Seat Concepts (they seem to offer multiple models for ~$100 less than sargent)? Thanks!
